I have always had a desire cook and, the beginnings of my working life (at 16), revolved around the food industry; whether that be cooking the food or serving it -I spent nearly 7 years immersed in food but, it wasn't until my late twenties that I really started playing with flavours and developing my own way of cooking.
I am no Jamie Oliver; but every now and then, I come up with something new (or new to me, I'm sure someone out there did it first!) which delights my taste buds.
Growing my own food and rearing my own meat seriously excites me as the flavours of fresh veg and lovingly raised meat are just unbeatable.
This area is a place for me to share these recipes and ideas with you.
