With huge thanks to Shepton Mallet Town Council, we can now promote our up and coming project 'The Youth Garden Project 2024'.

This project is a 6 month project which sees us inviting up to 15 15-18 year olds to the farm to, not only learn how to grow their food, but to manage their own project, plan what they want to grow and when and then, after harvest time, they will have the opportunity to sell the produce for a share of the proceeds.

On top of running their own 'plot', each month, we will also be doing cooking demos and tasting days to hopefully show how to use the produce and create something delicious.

Applications are open to all young people from all backgrounds but need to be from within 5 Miles of Shepton Mallet.

Sessions will be every Saturday from April 6th until September 28th.

The first session of each month will be completely free with all other session being £10 per day charged at the beginning of each month with 50% coming back to you if the young person attends each week.. We are currently seeking funding to make these sessions totally free.

As this is only open to 15 people, we are taking applications from interested people. Applications will be sorted on March 11th and succesful applicants will be notified the following week.
